Graduating class of LCC 2016

On Wednesday, November 15, 2016, Leadership Cowley County held a graduation ceremony for its 2016 Class. Seventeen community members completed the three-month course. In one retreat and seven half-day sessions, the class members learn about and travel to many areas in the county and study and practice curriculum drawn from materials by the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC), a leadership development organization with the charge of cultivating civic leadership throughout Kansas.

To practice leadership principles, the students participate in exercises to challenge their own strengths and weaknesses and each session offers opportunities to explore the motivations, values and perspectives of others and study the elements of successful team-building.
